The Chakra Mantra Cookbook

by Patricia Stein

This new cookbook is a guide to health, healing, rejuvenation and relaxation. It is a spiritually inspired vegan cookbook incorporating the colors of the chakras with Tibetan doctors’ approach to treating energetic imbalances in the body. Each chapter includes seven mantras with a corresponding recipe for its respective chakra. Stein defines "chakra" as nerve centers which determine your level of consciousness and through which energy flows. The book also provides a food chart breaking down food properties into four main categories, according to Tibetan medicine: foods that warm or cool the body; foods that bring up or bring down energy; foods that converge or scatter sweat; foods that increase or decrease physical strength.

Explore this new cookbook through some simple-to-make recipes:

Antioxidant
Eggplant with Tomatos
Tofu Curry
Cucumber Dill Soup
